As key facility staff retire, so does the intuitional knowledge of the underground workings. Today, a digital utility atlas of the underground network, mapped using geospatial technologies, is crucial to campus succession planning, operations and maintenance activities, and new capital improvement projects. In this session, we’ll discuss the importance of using modern utility locating and remote sensing mapping technology to build a complete record of buried facilities.
